- Create relevant back links. Google, Yahoo and Bing look at link popularity as the major factor. Get people linking to your site but don’t link back.
- Do your keyword research. Make sure you research the best keywords that are going to get you sales not traffic. You can use Googles free keyword tool for this.
- Write compelling meta tags the title tag being the most important. Make sure they have the right keywords in that that page is going to ficus on.
- Build pages around the most lucrative keywords and name them so. For example if you best keyword is ‘bowler hats online build a page bowler_hats_online.html and optimise the content and tags around this them.
